Trauma-sensitive care

While traditional talk therapy informed by psychodynamic training is available and can be a part of our time together, I have found parts work and the integration of expanded states of consciousness to be profoundly healing for those who have experienced sustained developmental trauma, are highly sensitive or neurodivergent, or who are interested in and open to exploring a more loving relationship with parts of themselves that are challenging to relate to. These expanded states can stem from experiences such as psychedelic journeys, deaths, divorce, childbirth, or other somatic or breathing practices.

IFS-informed parts work

IFS stands for Internal Family Systems and is a method of practice developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz. I have participated in the 6 month IFS circle training as well as various continuing education courses to inform my therapy, which will help you to create space within yourself to hear from different parts of you that often have separate beliefs and wishes for you. This type of work is curious and centered in the wisdom of your body, often leading to more compassion and patience for yourself and all your parts.

Psychedelic preparation and integration

With over 150 hours of core didactic training and 40 hours of supervised practicum through InnerTrek, Oregon's psilocybin facilitator training program, I have experience and knowledge in helping you understand and prepare for various realms of expanded states of consciousness for those choosing to engage with psychedelic medicines. These experiences are shown to hold immense healing potential when held in a supportive and nurturing way that allows you to be curious about the meanings and insights you may have gathered.
